Crudo

The flavors and vitality of the Mediterranean coast permeate every dish served at Crudo, our upscale seafood restaurant in Tangier. Given our positioning in Tangier, we take pleasure in offering the essence of Mediterranean cuisine in every bite. Its name, which means “raw” in Italian, reflects the purity and freshness of market produce, as well as the simplicity and authenticity of the dishes served on the shaded patio or in the contemporary, sober and light-filled dining room.

As a fish restaurant in Tangier, our focus is on the delights of the sea. The day begins with a constantly renewed breakfast assortment designed to be shared around our large, convivial tables. An appetizing selection of regional specialties from all over Morocco accompanies local and seasonal produce, fragrant breads and pastries, homemade granola and fruit jam from our gardens.

Our lunch and dinner menus draw inspiration from the flavors of Southern Europe, with freshly caught fish and seafood straight from the port. As a Mediterranean restaurant in Tangier, we are committed to serving refined and delicious dishes that celebrate fresh ingredients and traditional cooking techniques. Indulge in our tasty dishes and warm atmosphere for an unforgettable dining experience in Tangier.

Meet Our Chef

Head Chef Chris Blake began his culinary career in his native Sydney, before setting off to discover the world and new gastronomic horizons. Before joining Fairmont Tazi Palace Tangier in July 2022, he honed his craft at Michelin-starred restaurants in England and France before further refining his skills in Dubai.

Chris draws his greatest inspiration from the people and places around him. “I truly believe the best way to learn about a country or a group of people is through food and sharing meals. The first place I always like to see when visiting somewhere new is the local food market.”

Chris’s vision for Fairmont Tazi Palace Tangier? To showcase the north of Morocco by highlighting regional products, from freshly caught fish and organic fruit and vegetables to cheese from Chefchaouen or nougat from Tangier. “I want our guests to experience something new and exciting, in a relaxed and unpretentious setting.”
